1983 Thruster Tri-Power XL

Very Nice & straight Thruster Tri Power XL Awesome all around BMX Bike . Another Great bike from Speed Unlimited !

This Thruster Tri Power XL  was kept in great shape ! Only needed new powder coat and decals.  The Forks Were True NOS NEVER USED OR MOUNTED , kept sealed in a plastic bag for 29 years ! The decals were re -manufactured from original Speed Unlimited equipment and Made by a Speed Unlimited ex- employee ! The Thruster Frame pad was purchased on E Bay , when I recieved it, I noticed the pad was signed by KURT ESSER  from team Thruster !  The following parts installed on this bike are NOS,  Bullseye Cranks with Blue Sugino 47tooth sprocket and blue chain ring bolts, 1981 KKT LIGHTNING Pedals, Suntour Goose neck, Red Line Pro Line V Bars , Haro Flo Panel, 1981 Blue Cycle Pro MX Quick Adjust Head Set, Oakley F1's, 1979 Cycle Pro V Bar Pad,  Pre Bent Dia Compe Brake handle and  Cable MX 1000 Caliper, Uni Pro 14,  ACS Z RIMS with Suntour Hubs, Panaracer Mach SS's,  SkyWay Neck Pad. The  rear sprocket is an  AC 888 15 Tooth and seat clamp is AC 25.6 mm. Spokes are 14 gauge and Chain is a KMC. It took 18 months to complete this bike and it was well worth the wait !  I have 2 rare Thrusters I'm Building , a NOS EURO BB, TIMMY JUDGE REPLICA and a THRUSTER BI-POWER , both will be  entered in this museum soon !
