1977 Rampar r-5's

original bike right down to the tires and grips

i picked up these 2 rampars from the original owner who had bought them for his daughters but they where to heavy for the girls so they just hung in his garage til now. I have all the recipts owners manuls and warrantee info for 3 bikes since his son had one to but ruined it. The #1 bike is really clean with only a very slight crack in the gas tank on one side where the forks rub on it.It has the original cross bar pad, both bike have all original parts. the bike's cost $117 new in 1977.

Sweet Find! You even have those front plates that snap in to the forks! I forgot about those, mine would fly off every time I landed hard from a jump, I was constantly adjusting the tabs, thanks for posting.

Re: 1977 Rampar r-5's

I loved that bike!  I have to find a pic of me on mine back in 1977.  As soon as I can find it, I will post.  Thanks for the memories!  Reliving my childhood, one bike at a time!

there is a springer rampar on ebay right now but it's in the wrong section so most folks aren't going to see it:

DAMN, I had one of those myself back in 77!!!!  jumped the $#^! out of it & probly threw it away as my old Cotton Picker & Lemon Peeler (3 spds). STUPID KID:P!!!!!!! Glad someone found these treasures & still has them. Brings back lots of great (& envious) memories...     glad I saw these. Thanks.

Re: 1977 Rampar r-5's

Was going to get one of these but chose a non-suspension bike in 1977.  These were so cool and looks like I'll be searching for one.

Thanks for the flashback!

Re: 1977 Rampar r-5's

A friend of mine had a 'shock' bike as we used to like to call them many years ago but with a yellow tank and fenders.  These sure bring back memories.
