This is one and the same. People were wondering if it was a Cooks Bros. MADDAWG. Keep your eyes peeled...the 16" Dan Gurney Squareback is almost finished too! Thanks for all the kind words fellas! cool

Great looking bike. I had one of these in the 70' with Tange TX-500 forks. The frame is actually an "Eagle" model. You can see the  two E's on the headtube decal. Originally there were more Eagle decals on the bottomtube. Great find!

You're correct BCRider, it's an Eagle. I should've put that in the description. It also still has the Eagle stickers on the seat mast. This one came with the TX-500's, but the steertube needs to be slightly repaired. I may very well put them back on after the repair, but first...A bananna seat is in order. smile

Re: 1976 Dan Gurney Eagle

Wow ..... I would have lost a bet on this one. I've got one identical here in Vegas, and when I put it side by side one of my Cooks, it was almost identical, other than the chain/axle adjusters. This is going to change my entire direction for a Build, knowing it's NOT a Cooks. Thanks for all the info.....
