Mongoose Builds! Mongoose Questions! Post them here...

Have a cool goose build? Or maybe just starting your build? Have a question about parts? Lets keep it all here! There are many scattered posts with info, but most are old and the people are gone. I'm no expert! I read every thing I can find on the old mongooses and rely on the experts here and at vintage for most of my answers. I mostly just like talking about and looking at old geese!

This is my son Will and I. He's the reason I found and rebuilt my old goose. I have acquired a few more along the way!

how to tell a 87 from a 88 decade.

87 decades have diacompe center pulls, two cable stops on headtube, spintech stem, no rear peg hole mounts on dropouts.
88 decades have rear 990's, one cable stop on headtube, acs rotor stem, and rear peg hole mounts on dropouts.
