1985 Skyway Street Beat
1985 Skyway Street Beat
NOS Skyway Streetbeat with Warranty Card Still Attached. I have Spent A Year Sourcing all the Bits for this bike. I wanted to do something other than the standard green and blue or all green. </p>
This is my 1985 Skyway Streetbeat, this bike started out as a long term project in Early in 2009 with the purchase of a set of Green Skyway Tuff Pads. From that point on the Trawl began to try and build a NOS Bike from the 80’s. I know I wanted to do something which gave me fond memories from the past without compromise. There lay the problem. The cost of bits these days is astronomical so I compromised on the Cranks and went for Redline Flights with the Twin pinch Bolts. An original boxed frame, fork combo Sourced. A Nos Streetbeat in green. I didn’t want to go down the build in the green and blue you always see, so the vision began. Almost 1 year of searching for the right bits at the right money and all Nos. This is how it is stacking up so far.

Thanks for the comments. Makes it worth opening the Skyway box 4 weeks ago and showing the frame and forks day light for the first time in 25 years.
