1985 Astron

Flite cranks and bullseye hubs, nice.

Here is an Email I got about Astron BMX:
You need info on Astron - I've got it!  I actually have one, I race it
regularly - in fact I took a first in Rock Springs on it in December.

The guy who commissioned them from Champion still races and works at a
shopin Englewood, Colorado.  They only made about 200 or so - white or
chrome.  I have a chromed one and someone returned a painted one to him
at
his shop (just frame and fork).

If you are interested in photos, let me know.  Mine has been
bullet-proof
since the day I bought it in 85 or so!

Re: 1985 Astron

I remember Astron's from there ad in ABA's Bmxer back then, I've never seen one until now, but with a run of 200 that kinda explains why. Looks to be a well constructed frame with nice welds and capped seat and chainstays are always nice and kind of a rarity on a chromo bike back then.
