I had thought of just selling some parts and bikes in order to help out our brother country in its time of need,last night I received a pm from member old head 1,telling me to put these on sale for the cause,a set od dc 880's and tech 5's plus a set of dc cables stamped 1985.the price is 150 OBO plus he will pay for the shipping,this is a great gesture,old head,thanks a lot,I will be posting m pics later on today,as I am babysitting right now:),the levers and cables are NOS

I will post mine later,I plan on selling my standard lenghty 1995 frameset,my hoffman ep frameset,stem,love bars,low drag bars,taj frame(1995),kuwahara et frameset,and some parts for the build;my standard trls 250 bike,my haro supra complete bike,a gt mallet stem,and a host of stuff,keep in mind I have to sell these in component groups,so as to save in shipping,but I willb e absorbing the shipping so this is a good opportunity to help!thanks,and thanks old head!

How about screw that. keep your stuff and set up a paypal that we all throw 5 or 10 bux in. with so many members, I'm sure we could at least make a dent.

well,definitely,if every member donates at least 5 bucks,it would make a difference,still,I would like to sell some stuff,at times like these,having all this in these times is troubling my head.that is why I am covering the shipping as well,the more money the better,it is needed urgently,there is talk of more than 100000 dead,and 300000 missing,the resulting consquences of hundreds of thousands of bidies rotting without control at the same time on the same spot is endangering the lives of those left behind,it is a dantesque nightmare,which could have happened here,since we are in the same territory,there is only a divisory line and that's it.my paypal address,just in case,is jrpolancoabreu@gmail.com,I will personally deliver all goods purchased with these funds to the person in charge of distributing it,Dr.Crystal Fiallo Scanlon,a meritory citizen whose entire family is devoted to helping people.

Just sent a little, too. Our church will be collecting stuff I'm sure. I heard a Georgia native who's in the international police on the radio today. He said his building didn't collapse, but the buildings all around them. He will be staying (although, he has every chance to leave on a C130 if he wants to) until this is stabilized.

What he said they need most at THIS point for personal donations:

1.) toiletries. (paper goods, washing soaps, feminine care products...basically anything in yer bathroom)
2.) underwear
3.) T-shirts
4.) shoes

Just the basic necessities of life that you need. Try to find an organization and give til it hurts.

thanks guys!the light went out for a bit,but it is back again,for some reason we also have consequences,I was on the phone with the person coordinatong the relief,and they were very happy to hear this,theyre also organizing a concert,with local rock,folk and rap bands,lets see how that goes!thanks from the heart!what thye really need most is water,and hydrating serums,plus blood of all types,its mayhem down there...

Any way for members without paypal to send donations? I always have to get a friend with paypal to do my deals for me. (address for like international money orders, etc.?)

Just a thought to maximize donations.
