Does anyone have any info on peugot bikes. I had one when I was a kid it was a CPX-100, however I would take any thing i could find. CPX-200, CPX-300. thanks

Last week I found a complete Peugeot 10 speed racer from the 1970s and did a little research before selling. There are a few good websites on Peugeot and here in Australia they would sell the bikes in the car dealerships or car spare parts shops. Very nice bikes and all French componentry. I sold the bike in like 10 minutes and could have sold a dozen more !!

peugeots were sold here, independtly from the car and aftermarket vehicle business altogether,the bike shop owner was a very quiet and mellow frenchman, and it stood until his demise around 1986-87.their forte were ten speed bikes, but they dabbled into bmx but not in a large scale.nonetheless, the bikes were well built for the time, much much better than the taiwanese cookie cutters.

I am currently looking for this frame to purchase and restore/build. This was my FIRST BMX bike. Was there EVER a CPX-500 that had the same graphic as the 100 and was a dark red? I sware that is what I had, but cant find ANY pictures of that particular one if it even exists. But for some reason in my mind it was dark red and was a CPX-500 and not a 100....I remember the 100 was a brighter red and mine was definitely a dark red. The gusset holes were NOT the lion but just a circle. My dad bought it new from a local bike shop in Memphis, TN in maybe 80, 81, or 82.....Any info on the CPX-100 frame to buy or this dark red CPX-500 that i think it was let me know.
