Three quick ways to tell are:
1, the platform behind the seatpost will be boxed and will be stamped Made In USA
2, the fork will have internal cable routing, not welded on cable guides
3, there will be 990 mounts, Compes and DTours don't

awesome,incredible dynos,this is one of the frames I always wanted to try,but never got a hold of one,the closest thig I ever tried was a 91 detour,with all my custom parts of the era(wal fork,kneesavers,superpros,etc)good handling,quite similar to the pft,but sharper,nice.that 1985 pic is nice,looks as if lifted from any bmx mag of the time,I had thought at first it was mcgoo!cool..chromey,dint know you were into dynos as well,nice frameset!

The internal routing of the lower Gyro cable makes that a team.

ok.mine is supposed to run along the lower outside of the tube and have a lower mounted rear brake.one thing i haven't fixed yet.

Yeah, last two.  Your fork came out pretty good. Never did get the chrome one back like I wanted but this one came out nice for a rider.
