1987 Haro FST
1987 Haro FST
Saved From Certain death!!
This minty green beauty was on its was to bike heaven when I recovered it from a garbage pile. Seems the ladies son left it. She was moving and didn't want to take it with her. Anyway, it will live on. Unfortunately, I had to sell 9/26/11.

Re: 1987 Haro FST
What a machine this is, I had one of these years ago i bought off a mate and sold it when i got my licence to some guy in the Australian Navy. I was always lead to believe it was an 87 model, still have old photo's of it somewhere. I am pretty sure you can tell the year of most haro's by the first 2 digits of the serial no. but i could be wrong

Re: 1987 Haro FST
Yeah, Canibl, you are correct. The first 2 numbers on the serial indicate which year it is. Love that green!!!

very cool...love the color.
"First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. "Isn't this great?" Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of you. It's a classy move. "Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice." And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV."

Re: 1987 Haro FST
Great Save Bro, take good care of her. I added her to my faves! I'm restoring an 87 FST now, I have the original frame, seatpost, seatpost clamp, handlebars, and a group 1 stem. If I may seek out your counsel from time to time to check the configuration. I have an 87 spec sheet from the Haro catalog I'm restoring it against.
Take Care,
Shane.
