1977 Huffy Thunder Road

I just purchased this thunder road from the original owner.
It had been sitting in his fathers basement for 30 plus years.
The bike is pictured in as found condition, the only thing I had to do was give it a bath.

Re: 1977 Huffy Thunder Road

Wow!  I can't believe I found this bike here.  So cool!  If you ask me, it goes right up there next to the Schwinn Stingray from around the same time.  It never got the same recognition, but I can tell you, growing up, nearly every kid who had a huffy, was thrilled with it.  Those knobby tires were the kicker.  Closest thing to a dirt-bike.  Take it from a kid who had a Ross with metal fenders, clanking chain against the chain-gaurd.  These things had a good history.  Thanks for posting.
