1987 Raleigh Shock

Heres my 87' Raliegh Shock.. Bought it in fair shape, but needed new tires, tubes, brake cables and pads.. Originaly Yellow grips pedals and brake cables had to go. White just looked so much better. I love the dbl toptube bikes!!! Allways looking for more if the price is rite..

yup . i agree . i have the same exact bike in similar shape , and i cant understand why they would use the yellow pedals, cables, and grips . ugly as hell .

very nice Raliegh ultra shock. I have the same one in the museum I switched out the yellow parts to :lol:lol: grate minds think a like!

this was my first "real" bike worked all summer doing yard work to get it. it was 219 at bike n hike. would like to add one to my collection one day but I'm always broke when they come up. I like the yellow;)

Changed out most of the yellow, but kept the cheezy grips and chain.. Whats up with that??

I love the grips there my faveret mush room style grips just wish they where white.I am still hunting for a white chain.

I still have the grips, but I think yours are better looking.. I havent tried cleaning them though..

Bam! This is the exact bike I had back in the day! I loved that bike....it killed me when it got stolen. I used to surf with a foot on the handlebars and one on the foot rest behind the seat going down hills, ahhhhh to be young again. Man what i would do to be able to own another.
