Love the decoster. I'm searching the globe for as we speak. I'm also doing my first build a 1979 Sting I have all the correct parts I'm just trying to clean the rims up real good without taking them apart. And I'm proud to say I have no idea how to do it!!!
It don't mean a thing if you aint got no Sting !!

Thanks for the comments.
hb4dj - do you have any pictures of your bike? It would be cool to see it go together
afxcrazy - good luck with the Sting. Let me know if you need help with the wheels. I've rebuilt the guts of a few wheels.

This is the bike that inspired me to build mine! I couldn't find the Museum entry for it for the longest time, then I found that all of the BMX Products bikes are in with the Mongoose's. ![]()

Hey Badmofo! Glad you found it again. I rode this the other day and I love it. This is probably the bike I would have owned as a kid. It's simple and wouldn't have cost too much back in the day. It's a great ride!!! Thanks!
