1979 Laguna Cruiser 26

Just an Old School Build

I found the frame in Sept. of 09 online and it needed a lot of work! Heres the run down of the parts I put on it. I hope everyone likes it. Oh please dont laugh at the seat I do have another saddle for it but I built it to RIDE it. Ok here we go, 26'' laguna frame with brite red powder coat, NOS Wald forks (still looking for Laguna's), NOS Tange head set, super super clean KOS cruiser bars, NOS round back Tuf Neck stem, chrome Tuf Neck seat post clamp (looks new), NOS Redline seat post, NOS California Lite pads (all 3), super clean Araya 26x1.50 rims with NOS Bullseye hubs and red nipples, new Redline flite 180's, NOS Sugino chainring, Origin power disk (still looking for a black Ano Tuf Neck), Odyssey triple traps and some AME grips. The NOS Dia Comp brakes (1000's) were lost by UPS, so when I get some new ones I'll post the picture. Thanks for looking at my ride.

Re: 1979 Laguna Cruiser 26

On the year I have heard two ways, 1 they started from #00001 with the first bike, I dont think that to be true, because I had one that didnt have a # on the BB. 2 they started with 2 digit year and a 3 digit build ie 07 = 1979, 999 the 999 th bike build that year, so 07999. I dont really know for sure. But as soon as I find out I'll post it. Thanks for looking.
