1978 Cook Bros. Racing
1978 Cook Bros. Racing
It took me 1 year to get this bike together for the 2007 Rockford show. The bike was painted by C-4. I polished the hubs and crank arms, and then had the logos laser etched back on. The bb cups and hubs i had annodized in blue. The bike has all Cook Bros components. Claude Murphy

Wow! I was wondering who`s bike that was. Did you bring home "best in show"? You have my vote for sure! (Followed closely by the 24" Skyway.) Cook Bros. Rules!
★Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: W42667. Both were sold used at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. Reward if found!!★

Re: 1978 Cook Bros. Racing
thanks guys, much appreciated...... i have some cool plans to do a cook bros cruiser next, but first i've gotta get two old school pattersons built for my 13yr old son and myself for neighborhood cruisin'...took us two years to get the parts for them both and i've been promising jr for awhile, so i will post pics of the bikes in the next couple weeks when we're done........then im gonna build the slickest lookin cook bros cruiser around!!! been planning that one for a minute, will be a blast to finally see it come together........thanks again!

Re: 1978 Cook Bros. Racing
I've told you before in person that you've got an awesome bike but damn . . . . that thing is sweet!!! ![]()
The new pic is killer. I've been thinking of taking some of mine somewhere to get some better pics. Now I'm gonna have to!
Again . . . sick, sick bike!!!!!!

Some people need to get down off of their crosses, use the wood to build a bridge and GET OVER IT!!!!
I don't build bikes. I just assemble them.
