I have similar pics from when I was 12 years old and yours remind me of just how much I loved my first Mongoose back then and why I still love them today! Very cool...
A "Squonk" is like a Mongoose only much harder to find...

I do still have the bike, however I painted it black about 15 years ago. Wish I would have kept it red, so might be changing it back this winter. I will have to take a current pic of the bike and add it to this post.
