Yesterday a White Redline RL20 was stolen from outside of my apartment. The bicycle was boxed and ready to be shipped to Bangkok for a bicycle show nov. 20th.

please if you have any leads or see it online please contact me.

I got the What was stolen. When was yesterday. The thief is the Who. but the Where is a bit to narrow. Is your apartment on the Northern Hemisphere or Southern?

Hi. I forgot to add all of the specifics because I wrote the post right before school. The bicycle was stolen from my apartment in Oakland, CA. So I am writing from Northern California. My friend Kritsada Prathumma owns the only BMX shop in Thailand and I actually did a documentary on him that you can see on my website. www.baynoise.com the film is also playing in Tokyo at the end of the month if any of you're around. So he tracked down this bike and had it sent to my house. I was helping him by shipping it to him in Thailand. I feel horrible that it was stolen. I've been reaching out to local collectors and plastering the neighborhood with posters.

thanks for the help. I am hoping with the help of others that I may recover this bicycle and finally get it to where it belongs.

that bike is originaly from my hometown of new bedford see the decal yesteryear cyclery that bike was just for sale here i thought not to long ago by a respected member so you did not have the bike that long i presume good luck with your search if it shows up here on the muse you will get it back check craigs list and any local pawn shops jay

I will be so happy if I can recover this bike. My worst fear is that the thief sells it on the streets.

sorry to hear of ur loss bro , that's one sexy bike . i had my shed robbed and i litteraly searched the block and visited every person i knew that was a thief , i managed to recover half my stuff including my {new at the time} liquid 6,2 custom snowboard {found it sitting in the park next to my house , along with a bunch of cd's , my baseball bat , my thrasher magazines from the early 90's} . i was so fuming

I got the bike back tonight! A neighbor found it on the roof! The box had been opened and things moved around. The shipping label had been torn off as well.

thanks for all of the support. This bike is headed to Bangkok for a Vintage show on the 20th!

you must be the luckyest guy alive , on the roof of all places , sounds like someone young who lives real close , maybe in the same building even , does the complex have camera's ?

Great story. I know that is an old thief trick. When they steal something but they don't know who the owner is they do risk walking around carrying /riding the stolen item so they stash it close by. Then they return later to pick it up.

When a bike is stolen from a yard or house look in trash cans and weeds right away. This has happened with one of my bikes.

A thief tried to jack my White RL20 in 1986 but i left the BRAKE LOCKS ON. Face plant 50 FT in the parking lot!

What was your "neighbor" doing on the roof? Possibly fabricating a story to cover for his kid who (after being caught red-handed) confessed to the crime over dinner that night? Just sayin.
