Re: torker and redline frames

PlanetX has a good SN decode guide, here's a snippet:

• SN on rear drop out is 1980 or later
• 2 letters at start = pre-1982
• 3 letters at start = 1982+

So, looks like 80-82

Re: torker and redline frames

That low profile Torker frame and fork was made 1978 - 1982

The serial is stamped on the dropout so it is 1980 - 1982

Late 1982 Torker changed their serial #'s which became sequential.

Re: torker and redline frames

Missed this first time: No Letter with two-letter SN= Standard (formerly L.P.) for 1981 only

You drop it to $150, you'll sell it in 2 minutes! If those forks were non-drilled, or you were pre-80, might flirt with $300. I think it's a good starting spot, but, might need to come off a bit.
