Guys, Was This A Normal Thing To Do BITD ????????????????????????????? Is Your Frame Drilled Or Have You Done It, Or Are You Going To Do It ? LMK.........

10mm, Dirty?? That is HUGE by bicycle brake standards. You know I am old school, and I don't EVER remember of anything like that. Of course, the newest thing I've got is '83, so maybe that came out after I was done.

Did it to my forks. before the ACS BOAs came out, we used to use 3/8" axles.

Dirty Habits, I switched out the guts with the old style small-bolt. It's a pain in the ass but it will keep you from drilling...forks don't seem that crucial but it could be baaaaad news if you try it on the rear, unless your brake stay has enough meat.

lul I have none. There was a pair of em on the bay, dunno if they sold. If you go that route, definitely run some of those brake stoppers.

I don't know if they have a proper part name...they're those little L-clips that rest against the stays and/or fork arms.

I wouldn't do it! The brake bridge looks to small for a 10mm hole.

i dont really get the point of having a 3/8ths axle for a brake bolt. i guess its less flex, but does flex really bother anyone?
