Start Printing Shipping Labels Online....It's Cheaper!
There are many sellers out there who still hand write
out their shipping label.
There are many sellers who still pay for delivery confirmation.
There are many sellers who still demand that the buyer has to
pay for Delivery confirmation if he/she so chooses.
If you are one of these sellers then check out these shipping rates.
Like I said before, delivery confirmation is free when printing
the shipping label online, plus the postage is cheaper.
Why live in the stone age, put your printer to good use.
Not to mention the possibility of writing down the incorrect
address on the package if hand writing the shipping label.
If printed online it will be the correct address everytime.
Just my 2 cents for today.... ![]()

"WE" Have been telling them till we're blue in the face.
I guess they like paying more to ship and waiting in line at the P.O.
I give up !!! ![]()

Well even if the old time sellers around here are stuck in their
old way of shipping don't want to help themselves/customers, maybe
this thread will be seen by new sellers wanting to save a few bucks
on shipping, and to be able to provide their customers with
a delivery confirmation number for free?
Lets hope it makes some sort of positive change.

The problem is that we have to have the right scale to calculate our weight to be able to punch in the numbers so you ll get the right label. If not, they will ship it and the buyer will end up paying for the package at the door to offset that postage.

I hear you on that, but you can get a new scale for around $20.

If you plan on selling things often it's worth it.
Delivery confirmation is around $.55 I think.
I get packages all the time with that little green
delivery confirmation sticker, which cost the seller.

It's too easy. They will send you everything you need. Boxes, tape, etc, etc. The scale pays for itself. Never wait in line again!

When someone pays you with paypal you have the option right there to print a label. You can choose usps or ups. If your sending a box it will ask you the size and weight. Punch all the info in and BAM! there you go. You pay for the label through your Paypal account, you have an instant tracking number, and all you have to do is tape it to the box.
I picked up a scale on ebay for like $25.00 and have not had to go to the P.O. since.
Oh, it also sends the buyer an email with the tracking # for you, so they know when to expect it.

Wow...I am surprised at the positive feedback on this post....cool.
Yea... time is money standing in line at the post office. Not to mention
the gas/time it takes to get there roundtrip.
There are hot chicks at the grocery store/mall.
Just go shopping more often with money you will save printing online. ![]()

It's kinda like the person at the grocery store who still pays by writing a check. We'll never get everyone to conform! ![]()

Re: Start Printing Shipping Labels Online....It's Cheaper!
My only issue is being at work from 7am-6pm. My mail carrier has misplaced/misdelivered enough stuff coming to me that I am not comfortable at all with leaving stuff on the porch in hopes that he may pick it up..

I hear you on that. Even if you have to go to the post office
you will save time by not standing in line. If the package is already
paid for you can skip to the front of the line and leave your packages
on the counter and a clerk will take care of them for you.
Not to mention you still get cheaper shipping rates, and free confirmation.
Your buyer will get confirmation, and Paypal will email them for you!
So you might not be able to take full advantage of USPS, but at least
you can still save a little dough and a little time...sounds worth it to me.

Wow that's a high tech scale.
I have the standard $20 scale and it has worked great for the last 7 years.
