Chrome Skyway T/A
Here is my second bike in the museum.
I just recently added my all time favorite BMX my collection. It took some time but I finally tracked one down from ebay all the way from Salt Lake City. It travelled a long way to get to me as USPS has some funny air routes.
I bought it as a frame and fork with a very nice polished DK stem. Looks to be a mini DK as it is almost as narrow as the top tube. I've picked up some repop decals, some black graphite Skyways, CW or CW bar copies, a tange headset and a Cycle pro layback post. I'm still looking for a Bear trap head set but for now this one will do. I'm planning on a mid school/new school profile crank set and that will leave me with the brakes and tires to sort out.
Only one real minus is the brake bridge is pinched. I might attempt to repair that or just cover it with the brakes.
I'm mulling over re-chroming it and getting some better decals. Anyway, bring on the pics.....
Progress pics to come.

Re: 1984 Skyway T/A
Update: So I have started to build the bike up. I've installed the Skyway composites with kool caps, mounted some odyssey skinwalls on them, got the CW bull bar copies mounted, odi grips, cycle pro lay back post, a rhino seat, profile racecrankswith a skyway turbo disc and some nice wellgo pedals, NN seat clamp, and I am in the process of getting the brakes together. Pic 3 is a teaser.
Hope you like the build.
