Sweet! I want one.

Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: C19 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: WB 42667. Both last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA. around 1984. Reward if found!!

Cool vid but, that is NOT the 1st bike with 22" wheels. Maybe the 1st BMX with 22" wheels.

of course it's not the first bike with 22" wheels. Nobody said it was!

Actually, I was talking to Craig Bark via email. He was a Factory GT rider in 1983. GT produced a very small number of 22 inch wheeled bikes for the team riders. Both he and Mark Perez raced it in the open class (according to Craig). He said it was a good size bike, but the only drawback was getting decent rims and tires.

I sure would like to know where those GT 22's went! smile

Actually, I raced it in the cruiser class, and then I gave it to Marc Steimer.
