1987 GT Performer

87 GT Performer, re-chromed frame with a powdercoat of transparent candy blue over top.   Got this in a trade with a friend (Well... he WAS a friend at that time anyway, answer your phone!).

Re: 1987 GT Performer

HEY!!  Who used to own this Frame/fork/bars/seatpost/chainring? It had the wrong GT stickers cut out (G and the T both cut out seperately) and put on the forks, tektro brake levers as in the pic and AME grips with the triangle on the ends also a matching blue seatpost with masking tape on it.  Powdercoated semi-transparent blue over bare metal or chrome (not going to chip away the paint to find out!)  : )   ???

Re: 1987 GT Performer

I was the original owner of this bike. The bike is an 87 model which I'm sure you know from the cable router on the down tube. I had it chromed and then powder coated Candy blue. I donated it to a vintagebmx member a while ago because he was in need. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments.
Thanks
Lee

Re: 1987 GT Performer

Ok finally home to take a pic, still need to bleach the mags and get new axles, working on finding the matching tire and need to decide on a few other parts before I go and paint them white.  Anyway here's a new pic
