Re: Redline @ Salvation Army

tried to do some online research before posting. the way the frame is designed it seems to look like an XLR8R but it says RL-380. this is the closest I could come to it but, the graphics are all wrong.

Sadly, it's not Aluminum so it's not really going to polish to a shine. wink I'd say, strip, clear, & re-sticker it for a factory custom look! cool -7

Stock decals can be had for $15 at RINI'S

Re: Redline @ Salvation Army

Yeah, the 2000 380 is a neat looking frame, but holy crap they weigh a ton, which is what has kept me from buying one...

Ride it till you break it.  Then weld and ride it some more.

Re: Redline @ Salvation Army

Redline stopped using that seat, and stem both in either 1998,or 1999. The 2000 models all had different stems, and seats.  So going by that and the serial number I am saying this is a 1997 Year model.

Uh........ Hello.... hmm Check out the catalog link in post #4...... it's a 2000 model..... the seat is indeed incorrect for that year, and pretty trashed by the look of it.  The stem however is spot on 2000 issue. big_smile -7

Re: Redline @ Salvation Army

The stock brakes were Pro Max V brakes. You can find a set of V brakes including the lever online or probably at your LBS for under $20. cool -7
