1984 Raleigh Mini Burner

Mini Burner bike from the 80's. Mint NOS condition.

Just went out from a long time in a dusty garage. A rebirth...

Re: 1984 Raleigh Mini Burner

Very nice bike, it is in incredibly good conditions.

I had the same bike, I got it when I was around 6 years old and I can say I ride it A LOT. I remember my father even had to change the bearings once because the iron balls were broken and there were a noise like cracking nuts when I was pedaling.

Next time I will go to my parents I will check if the bike is still there, dying somewhere in the garage, I 'll take a picture and post it. I know the tires are absloluetly slick...

I can see two strange details on yours pictures :
1 - My bike had blue handles, not yellow as yours
2 - I had the rear brake on left hand (it is the english standard of course but... I'm french, and in France we have rear brake on the right handle). As it was my absoluetly first bike I learnt riding with it. Because of that, even now, each time I buy a bike here in France, the first thing I do is swaping brakes levers in order to get the same configuration I had on my first bike the Raleigh Mini-burner ...
