1998 GT Speed Series XXL

Made In USA

Purchased this frame in August 2009 and built her up with parts i sourced from around the place.  Nice looking and light frame but forks are really heavy.  When brand new this frame retailed for US$300 in the US and probably close to AU$800 back in 98.  The complete Speed Series Team bike retailed for approx US$1100 in US.  This frame does not have the 'Team' model decal but has the same charactoristics as one such as the CNCd intergrated seat clamp, headtube, seatbridge, seattube collar, bottom bracket shell and drop outs.
I'm thinkin of changing the wheels to something skinnier as these rims are quite wide and perhaps alloy in colour.
Also chasing a black 44T chainwheel like one already on this bike. LMK if you have one.  We could perhaps trade or just cash sale.

Re: 1998 GT Speed Series XXL

I think it is a Team frame those look like new decals on it, the GT sticker on the down tube looks a little small. I bought a set for my brother on e-bay and there smaller then whats on his frame.
