Nice purple Spyder! I had a 1972.
I turned it into my first BMX bike with a Messinger seat, box bars and some cheng shin tires.
I later added Ashtabula forks and stem before upgrading to a nickel Mongoose long frame.

Cool picture. Just need the playing card with the clothes pin to get the sound effects going.
You needed to rip the fenders & chainguard off and get your mom's ten speed seat on the bike so your at least trying to look like motocross. We use to take the 20x2.125 rear knobby tires found on a few bikes and mount them on the front and rear also to copy the motorcycles. I wish we would of thought of taking pictures back then. The older kids would carve out a dirt track with ramps in a farmer's field until it was ready to plough for the next crop.
