1984 Hutch Pro Raider

Coolest bike at Middle School!!!

1985 Hutch Pro-Raider Resto for my 12 yr old son. I found this frame on e-bay and it was in bad shape. Gave it some TLC, a Hutch repop sticker & pad set, and some cool old school parts and ta-da! The coolest bike at middle school! My kid loves it. He is out everyday raceing all the neighborhood kids and winning. Older kids give him props and he just digs that. Proof that Hutch is a true clasic and will always be timeless. My next project is my wifes 73 Schwinn Breeze, but after that I really want to do an old school freestyle bike. Looking at the Trickstar, but its a little pricy...we'll see. smile

Re: 1984 Hutch Pro Raider

Thanks Racer! Yea, Hutch who? I ride my Hutchins around with him and we kinda got a gang of followers now. I've turned them all on to the museum and other sites. Trying to get the word out. All the kids are really digging the old school stuff. I show them some tricks on jumping and riding burms and stuff. Its been real cool. Did you sell your wifes Hollywood on e-bay? I was one of the ones that messaged you about how rad it was. That is such a sweet build. Love the color scheme. If and when I build my freestyle bike, thats the colors I want to do it in. you have inspired! I still wish I had the money to purchase. Anyway Have fun & Ride hard!

Very good looking bike, pretty cool that you saved it from the poor condition it was in.
