Re: How To Upload Your Bike Photos
I've seen 2-3 different questions regarding uploading pictures from an IPhone or IPad. Im having the same problems. Can you guys at least tell me if an IPad will even work for uploading pictures ??? At least that way,I can quit trying........ Thanks in advance for any help.......

I pay for products IMMEDIATELY upon getting your Paypal address, and I leave feedback WHEN I HAVE TIME !!!!!! If you're one of those "Feedback Freaks" that loses your mind when you don't see immediate Feedback, please DO NOT SELL TO ME !!! BMX collecting is a hobby that I enjoy, but believe it or not, I have a LIFE too. Don't REMIND me to leave feedback, and remember... "Loc Dawg don't ride fer no trick azz bitches"

PM sent, but I am not sure if that is what you are looking for. Works for posting in threads but not for submitting a bike.
You know, Roy Munson has two chances to win this tournament now...slim and none...and slim may have just left town.

Re: How To Upload Your Bike Photos
Photobucket Mobile
1) Download the photobucket iphone app (photobucket mobile)
2) Create and account if you haven't already
3) Select photos from photos on your device and upload photos to the app
4) Once uploaded, select the picture you wish to share
5) Hit the "i" icon inthe bottom right corner
6) Touch the "IMG" code, it will automatically copy it
7) Paste into the appropriate BMX museum thread
8) Hit submit
9) You are good to go!

Re: How To Upload Your Bike Photos
Apols if this is in the wrong "place" but I couldn't post in the "BMXMuseum.com Bikes" thread.
So, I submitted a bike with a holding photo until I could upload photo's of the real thing. Has been marked as "Needs More Work" which is fair enough.
I've lost count how many times I've tried to upload 2 photo's (plus the original "stock" image) and receive 413 Request Entity Too Large error.
I've reduced the photo's to well within the recommended sizes according to the sticky. They are approx 50k (448x336, 72dpi)
Can someone PLEASE suggest what I might be doing wrong?
I've had no problems uploading in the past the last probably being 18 months ago.
Has anything changed in that time?
Have tried this from 2 PC's. 1st = Win XP Pro with IE7 and Firefox 14.0.1. 2nd = Windows 7 Pro with IE9 and Firefox 14.0.1.
The above error is in IE (both 7 & 9) and receive it when trying to upload one, two or three images...
All I want to do is add to the existing history on here. Shouldn't be too difficult really...! roll
Cheers for any help
Lamby

Re: How To Upload Your Bike Photos
OK. Now that I've stopped being a complete f'king idiot I've sorted it.
I made a copy of the original photo's and resized them but like a complete prat I've being trying to upload the original photo's (approx 4Mb each) instead of the new resized ones... ![]()
Sorry all

Hi Nate! I have found how other members can resize their pictures easily! Right click on the picture desired for resizing, A drop down menu appears, select open with, then open with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Hit the picture tab at the top of Microsoft Office Picture Manager which will actiivate another drop down menu with resize picture on it. Select resize & to the right the page a box which reads resize settings appears. From here select predifined width x heigth, again use the arrow underneath predifined width x heigth which activates another dropdown menu in which you can select 800x600. Press OK on the bottom of the resize settings box, your picture will be resized to 800x600. Close the Microsoft Office Picture Manager, another box appears in the middle which asks if you would like to SAVE. Select Save, finito! Time for successful upload! Good luck to the OS ARMY!!!!! WANTED: 1 1\8 " forks in near new condition from 2000 (ish) era. Will be mounting to 2000 Marin mbx 50. Something a little differentwould be cool, but not really into carbon. Try me with anything that's not freestyle or DJ though.
