1997 2 Hip Big Boy
1997 2 Hip Big Boy
F/F, Bars, Stem
So far it's just a frame, fork, bars and stem, with an Odyssey seat clamp and some yellow Jive Tentacles on it with a new beartrap II headset. They may actually be WAL forks but I'm trying to do some research on them. I know they are what came with the frame when I got it, and I know other 2-Hip forks have the peg bosses higher up with a shorter fork length under the drop-out, so who knows. They look just like my other WAL forks, anyone have a catalog or anything for the early 2-Hips? I can't wait to get this one built up to go ride it. I've got a couple others to finish up first. I've got a few other parts already, just still thinking about what wheels and cranks to go with. I'll replace pix as it gets further along.
I really like bikes!!!

WOW! lovin it! its beautiful
ive always liked the big boy frame and the flat bars rule

yes the forks are definatly early WAL forks, and the frame seems like a 96/97 era frame with the chainstay 990 mounts.

Re: 1997 2 Hip Big Boy
Thanks guys, and thank for those ads Adam. It sure does look like that one in the 97 picture. I think I'll change that year in the title.

Re: 1997 2 Hip Big Boy
Thanks Dan. I'm not really wanting to sell it. I'm actually pretty excited about building it up, just have to get a couple others done first. I can't think of anyone with one for sale either, but if I come across one I'll let you know. Just for the heck of it, what kind of stuff do you have for trade? You can PM me, you never know.

Minor Threat, London Calling and Agnostic Front LPs framed in the background are classic.
