1984 Skyway T/A

This is my first race bike since I sold my 1983 GT in 1985.
It is a Skyway frame/fork from 1984 which was white powder coated by its last owner in the UK. I added new white Skway tuffs with AC 15 tooth gear, new Redline double pitch flight cranks, Tioga CompacDisc, Tioga CD (43 tooth), new Hutch pedals, new white extra light KMC chain, Pro Neck stem (polished) with hollow bolt, Tioga Beartrap headset, Tange lock nut, GT bar , new AME grips, Dia Compe Tech 4 break levers, MX fake breaks with Weinman adjusters, Skyway Tuff break pads (new edition), new extra long Redline seat post and a white Elina Lightning saddle.
I also got a white HARO Tech number plate with blue/red lettering matching to the Skyway sticker colors but the GT bar is not wide enough when the break levers are installed
Maybe I will change the bar and take the wider GT bar from my Haro Freestyler to be able to mount the plate.

Re: 1984 Skyway T/A

Just changed the GT bar to a wider GT bar that fits my Haro tech plate with matching blue/red lettering (Skyway sticker colors).

Re: 1984 Skyway T/A

My very new Hutch pedal spindles were broken after riding them only for some hours.

Pictures of broken Hutch pedal spindles.

I installed temporary some wellgos and some days ago I got the nice Flashcaps for my Tuff wheels.

Do not use AC Racing 15 tooth gears on your rear Tuff, these are to large for KoolCaps and FlashCaps !!

Here is the thread about the Flashcaps and where you can find them.

Re: 1984 Skyway T/A

Nice job - I really dig the skyway pedals on the T/A's ... just an idea.
