1997 Trek Sub-Culture SS

7005 Aluminum, oversized tubes with some serious TIG welds

Forks, bars, seatpost and 3-piece cranks are 4130 Chromoly. This is one of my daily riders that I got off a BMXMUSEUM member. If you ever saw the original decals for this bike you will understand why they were not replaced after I stripped and polished the whole frame. It has original Araya 7x wheelset with aluminum nutted hubs that are pretty clean and very true. Aluminum 1 1/8" threadless Dia-Compe Aheadset SX-1,  Dia Compe 747 V-brakes, and Wellgo LU-952 pedals .

Wow, that is pretty.  I think I would have kept the decals though.
I had one of these bought and paid for once, but the previous owner just couldn't let it go.
I ended up taking my money back -still wonder if I was too soft and should have wrenched the bike from his sobbing hands!!!
