2005 WeThePeople Y3 Adidas Edition

Just 50 of these limited edition bikes were produced in 2005 and distributed worldwide to selected Adidas stores only.

Global sportswear brand Adidas asked wethepeople if they'd do a collaboration with the Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. They looked at the scope and were given a free run to create a bike that was totally ridable but with the old school look and unique Y3 features.
The re-run of orange skyways was done exclusively for this project. Details, right down to the unique Y3 grips, sprocket, pad etc were designed. It is loosely based on a complete 4-seasons Pro.

I picked up one over the weekend.

I found it on craigslist.  It had hardly been riden.
