1983 Skyway T/A

My first BMX bike was an 1983 Skyway TA. Although this is not an exact replica some of the parts are very similar.

This is an 5-83 date coded Skyway TA in original chrome, same as the first BMX bike that I bought from a friends brother. Only problem is some pitting of the chrome on the forks but you have to be up close to see it. While not exactly like the one I had BITD some of the stuff is similar. I had 2nd gen profiles with TI spindle then and switched between white tuffs and red Araya's in 20X1.5 size (yes I was much lighter then LOL). GT laid back post. I've been riding her around the neighborhood and doing some small tricks for my kids to see. I hope to take her to the track next year and race ABA for the first time.
