1999 Mongoose Supergoose Pro

Found this one on Buffalo Craigslist, got a really good deal I couldn't pass up.

The 25th Anniversary designation is for the company, rather than the Supergoose model itself.  The frame has a gigantic downtube, but is fairly lightweight aluminum.  This is the first one I've seen that is complete with the original Mongoose parts on it.  I like the front sprocket design!

Sweet!  Someone had one in Orlando for $150 -cherry condition, with that pale blue 25th anniversary paint - of course, i was not fast enough.  Maybe we'll see it get listed here too someday.
Lovely bikes -wonder why I never noticed them before -like the girl next door!

Re: 1999 Mongoose Supergoose Pro

I tried for months to get the guy from Buf craigslist to ship it to me, but he kept stalling. He obviously didn't want to mess with shipping it. Too bad too, I have the Gold one in mint condition I was hoping to make twins. And it was a really good deal too. You scored! Good for you. wink

Thanks js, this site and craigslist just feeds my addiction!  The seller claimed the only problem was the brake cable, but it was just twisted around the stem!  Is the gold one you refer to the same one you have listed?  I also saw an orphan frame on here somewhere.
