1983 Raleigh Mag Burner

'Customised' mag burner

This was bought by me last month from a friend because I always wanted one when I was a kid. It needed work when I got it so I went down the 'custom road' because a full on restoration was just too expensive!. That option is always still open 'tho. Unfortunately,I know nothing of the bikes history before I acquired it.

Re: 1983 Raleigh Mag Burner

i remember those 7spoke 20" mags from bitd. still think they are very cool.  your bike looks really good, you did a great job on it. smile

Thanks! It was my first resto' and I'm totally hooked now lol Since the picture was taken I've re-painted the chainwheel guard black and added it to the bike. I'm now working on my 2nd restoration big_smile ,Will
