1988 Haro Sport

88.5 Haro Sport in 99% original condition

Got this off another member in '08, was actually my first purchase that got me into collecting. Before this i had at most 2 bikes max.  Now its gotten too crazy and have to dedicate a storage space just for my bikes.  Thanks BMX museum :-p 
99% all original survivor condition, only thing that isn't original to it is the black fluted seatpost which i thought looked better than the chrome one that came with it.  The color Scheme is a rarer one for 88.5 sports.  88.5 sports are not as popular, due to the fact that the rear tris are not chrome, and there are no 990 rear brake mounts.  Personally this is one of my favorite bikes to ride, its geometry is perfect!

Very cool, Joe! cool  That thing is in amazing shape!  I can't believe those pesky mags and tires remained that white, you lucky dog!  I don't think I've seen that color combo either.  Thanks for the lesson on 88.5's as well.  I had no idea about the rear triangle and lack of 990's.  You learn something new every day.  tongue

thanks fellas... im not sure why the Title was changed to 1988 Haro Sport, but it is a 88.5 like i stated above.  Charlie, those mags are pretty yellow, almost as bad as my teeth!  lol

there only two of em 1988.5 gray and black combo sport in bmx museum whoa that is a collector item its no where to be found that kind color very rare for 88.5 ya got awsome bike all original
