2009 Myne Byke Company
2009 Myne Byke Company
The Myne Bike Co. frames are now available here! These
are high-quality, professionally-fabricated, USA-made frames. priced appropriately at $395.
Check the photo below, and then check out myspace.com/mynebykeco for more info.
The Alpha-Omega frames, (named, as Sam says, because it will be this first and last frame you will
ever need to buy) have a super-short rear end
(12.8" slammed), sharp steering (75.5), and are light weight (4.5
pounds), yet strong everywhere they need to be (no fancy-shmancy
cutouts or butted tubing, except the externally-machined/butted seat
tube), so they are probably the frame you've been waiting/looking for.
Specs for the new frames:
Weight: 4lbs. 11oz. (that's on the 21"tt size - that means the 20.875 and 20.6 sizes will be even lighter)
Material: Full OX-Platinum Chromoly
Top tube lengths: 21.0", 20.875", and 20.6"
Rear triangle: 13.0" (12.8" slammed)
Bottom bracket: Mid - must use 30t or smaller chainwheel!
Head tube: 75.5 degrees - 1-1/8" integrated w/removable gyro tab mounts
Brake mounts: 990 mounted on seat stays
Cable guides: 2 mounted on top tube w/angled cable housing stop for improved cable pull angle
Seat tube: 25.4 post, externally butted
Dropouts: 14mm, micro-sized/length
Colors: Blue, Yellow, Gold
Tube dimensions:
Top tube: 1.25" outer diameter, non-ovalized
Down tube: 1.38" outer diameter
Seat stays: 3/4" outer diameter
Chain.. stays: 7/8" outer diameter
