1980 Iverson

Race bike my dad built for me back in the early 80's

I raced this at the rocky hill bmx track back in '82-'84. I ended up handing it down to my bother who just ran it around the neighborhood, then I got it back when he was done with it. Its been sitting in my shed for years now and I'm currently rebuilding this bike for my kids, of course I'll be taking it for a ride when its done. Its almost done, then its time to build a new race bike for myself!!!

Re: 1980 Iverson

thanks, I'm gonna grab some better detailed pics and throw them up. I'm not 100% sure that the frame is from 1980, it might actually be earlier, I only know he built it for me in 1981

Re: 1980 Iverson

Sweet I've been waiting for 1 to pop up here. I picked one of these up about 2 years ago though mine has MX forks. Just curious is the name Iverson also stamped upside down on the head tube. Sweet bike I hope mine shines up that nice when I get around to it. Thanks for shareing. big_smile:

Re: 1980 Iverson

yea, Iverson is stamped on one side and the serial # is on the other side, I posted a pic of it so you could see it. Post up a pic of yours when you are ready, I've never seen another one of these.
