1983 Raleigh Racing R2500

This is a rare American made Raleigh Racing bicycle.

I found this bike on Ebay and had to have it. This is the same bike that I rode when I was a kid. I had the original frame, forks, handlebars, chain, and chainring re-chromed. It had a gt laid back seat post on it and I also had that rechromed. I had the pad sets and the decals remanufactured. I managed to restore the factory Raleigh Gum wall tires. I also added a 180mm Redline Flight Crank, a Viscount seat, a Odyssey seat post clamp, some new ACS Grips, some VP Bear Trap pedals, one new tube, and a Odyssey Pitbull V Brake system.

Hey thanks man. I am always kicked myself in the butt for getting rid of that bike. Now I have another one, but this time it is a lot better.

This is the first one of these I've seen. Very cool! It's really nice to see these american Raleigh's. They don't make 'em like this across the pond!
