1987 Dyno Detour
1987 Dyno Detour
Old School Cool
I just got this from SMITCHE, and i stripped the paint off of it, i wire brushed the rust off of it, then i put primer on followed by gloss white, and it's freakin awesome! as soon as i got it together, i rode the doo doo out of it all around town. I built it up with red skyway tuff II wheels, yellow odyysey fork standers, royce union chromoly seatpost, royce union double bars, chromoly one piece cranks, shimano DX rip off pedals, a royce union seat, mongoose double clamp, kalin stem,an odyysey dynatron headset, and primo grips. I included a photo of how i got it, ill get more photos soon! please comment on my paint job!
Stat tuned guys, i've decided that i love this frame, and im rebuilding it into a serious rider, because i thrashed the parts I put on it, The rim broke in 6 places, the seat was totaled, i crushed the bars, bent the cranks, bent the steering stem. I have every part to rebuild it in the next couple days except the steering stem, so im gonna use the one i have despite the bend from 270ing off dirt jumps.

Re: 1987 Dyno Detour
damn that sucks dude , i know crc has a new product on the market , it eats rust and then primes it black so it doesnt form again , i just picked some up from a engineering supply company , im using it on a frame at the moment and it works really well

Re: 1987 Dyno Detour
for sure , ive just watched a friend buy some tamiya hobby paint to paint his stem and couldnt wait to paint it up , so he did it at 12 am and fitted it to his bike 5 minutes later after doing only 1 coat , it came out with blotched patches that u could see the alloy through , now he's going to take it off , strip it back again and do it all over again lol , i was like dude , ur to keen ! lol

i like it , and how bomb proof it is , its heavyer than my cro-mo gt but being loaded with gt parts it rides just as good

Re: 1987 Dyno Detour
Oh man , youre scaring me with all this breaking talk D: , use a 90s dyno for that hardcore stuff there just as strong , try a 96 nitro or 97nsx and you wont cry if you destroy them , nor your wallet
Looking For an 85-86 Dyno Frameset , Front wheel/hub/rim for a 97 dyno nsx , Mike Domiguez 87 DB strikezone Parts minus the frame and forks , and any cheap underated 80s - 90s Frames , and while im wishing another 88 Goose Stylist
