2001 Fit Series 1

Project #2 completed at last

Took me long enough but it was worth it.  when i first got this one it was a train wreck.  the only parts i kept was the frame spokes rear hub and the seat.  started by striping the old black and red paint that was 1/8 inch thick no joke.  painted it matt black.  had a lone alex supra tripple wall in my shop and a few days later i traded an old beat up rim i had for the match to it.  both hoops were badly scratched so i took the paint off 1 and polished it like a mirror.  the other 1 was chrome plated so i sanded off the chrome on the side walls then polished it.  polished the sproket too.  the rims were by far the hardest part of this project.  the parts are as follows:
frame: Fit Sr1
forks: GT
front rim: Alex Supra Pro 48h tripple wall black spokes brass nipples XS 4x4 3/8 sealed bearing.
rear rim: Alex Supra Pro 48h tripple wall black spokes brass nipples Eastern 9t 14mm     Bi-rectional hub.
tires: Revenge industries Fatty
cranks: Redline sealed bearing single pinch (the 1 just after the 401)
neck: Free agent
bars: Haro fusion
lever: Odyssey quick stop 2
calipers: Tektro
chain: Shadow conspiracy V2 half link
sproket: Fit
grips: Animal Edwin De Larosa
seat: Fit kevlar  Seat clamp: Animal seat post: Pyramid
Bar ends: Shadow Conspiracy
axel nuts: Shadow Conspiracy
chain tensioners: Redline
after photos were taken i changed the generic headset to The Pig DH pro sealed.
soon as i get the money i want to put on tioga spyder seat and pedals and a king head set.  what started out as my next jumping bike turned into a trailer queen oh well lol.  my next 1 wont be so nice so i dont worry scratching it.
