1983 Vortex Jr

This is my brothers little junior racer

It is a 1983 Vortex junior racer.  This has been around our local club for years and now my brother owns it.  It is the stock vortex with a few different bits on it ( odyssey red racer tires odi grips and blue hubs)  It is a great bike considering how old it is.

Re: 1983 Vortex Jr

Hello mate, are you sure it is a 1983, I ask as I have a chance to buy one with exact same decals/stickers.  Would like to get it for the son to race in the uocoming pre 86 old school races here in Brisbane.

Thanks
Chris

Re: 1983 Vortex Jr

Probably a bit of a dig but that would be from the early 90's, I work for Vortex and that is one of the frames that we imported after we stopped welding our own frames, still have boxes full of these frames and forks and that style of decals...we still build one up to sell every now and then, actually I built a mini and a junior up just last week to put on the shop floor..
