1984 GT Pro Series
1984 GT Pro Series
My first real build.
This is my first all "me" build since getting back into bmx. I've spent alot of time and money on it and am very proud of it. Parts consist of:
NOS before built 1984 GT pro series frame
Undrilled GT early forks
NOS GT pro bars early unknurled
NOS GT laidback seatpost
Repro GT pads
NOS A'me cam grips
NOS pro neck stem
NOS tange mx 125lp headset
NOS chrome araya 7x laces to polished/blue bullseye hubs
NOS tioga comp III blue/grey label tires 20x1.75 front/rear
NOS dia compe mx1000 brake with dc cable and tech III lever
NOS tuf neck seat clamp
NOS kashimax aero with allen bolt guts
Redline 400 cranks in 180mm
NOS tuf neck 44 tooth chainring
Og hutch pro pedals with jdb cages
NOS izumi chain

All i want is a little more than i'll ever get.

absolutely beautifulchrome and blue is just how a gt should be.i built mine in chrome red and black all because i had a red dc 890 hanging about!!!mite use the parts on another build sometime and source blue parts for the gt instead especially after seeing yours,it rocks!!

I agree. It only took 16 different changes and $12k. LOL
When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new BMX bike. Then I realised that The Lord doesn't work that way, so I stole one and asked him to forgive me.

What he said. Excellent job. Truly. One of the nicest GTs I've ever seen. I used to roll with 400 cranks on my 84 GT back in the day too. Mine was chrome and red though.

Awesome GT fella. It looks incredible - well done!!
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Re: 1984 GT Pro Series
I absolutely love the color & parts combination you used. If I were to build a GT Pro Series (hopefully one day) yours would be the blue print for mine this was an easy favorite. Top job M8 I wouldn't change a thing on it.
