1977 CYC Stormer

The Real Deal

Super Silver and Smoke. Got this from a member as a way to sweeten up an already killer deal. this is an early dated (1-11-77) flat brake brace frame. Built this to have one done, came out as slick as thay get! This is one of the oldest race designs, sold right along the Square back Redlines back in the day.

Mig welding at it's finest, well, for 1977 anyway. Cool piece of history right there.

Re: 1977 CYC Stormer

This is a little heavy when compaired to a Goose or Redline of the same era, and ya the welds wernt as touched up or perfect to began with. The goose welds was part of its trade mark. this is really short as well but with the bars ahead a bit its a sweet ass ride! You can pull some air and slam round corners with serious control, but its hole shot just isnt there. I can't seem to lean forward enough to pull hard. A laid back post would make it a better "ride" bike for a monster like me cause lets fsce it it was made for some one 12 years old. Still all in all its taken every thing my 200+ ass has dished out, and with such a heavy built solid feel I don't think it will ever brake!big_smilebig_smilebig_smile

Re: 1977 CYC Stormer

this was also real early in the game! thay were the pioneers of this sport. most were built in small shops with no budget and little experance. some guy probly took on these for a few hrs after work buildin trailer hitches! lollollol
