Re: lets see your midschool bashguard and grind disk bikes!
How dare there be a Bashguard thread and not include the KING of all bashguard frames!! The BULLY!!
A bashguard frame made for flatland, ramp, street... you name it, it's done it (including breaking).
May I introduce you to... my trio of death. All of them have the nylon skidplate, but they are not installed or in the pics.
The Naked Bully... those of you who are under age, please divert your eyes. She's got great curves...
This one is signed by Perry Mervar...probably the best flatland Bully rider ever!
My "rider" until I started riding cruisers. Built just like my original one from BITD.
Dig out your bashguard bikes and let me know! I'm looking for a '91 Mongoose Hooligan, Dyno Slammer 2, '95 Haro Basher, . I'll consider the others too for the right price!

My Powerlite PFS with GT bashguard.

I still grind on it, and have already cracked this skid plate. [The fourth one since building this bike about two years ago.]

I love your "beater" master. I like the look of the rounded bash even if it doesn't protect the chain as much.
I still think my bashguard sport is the coolest bike I have.

That's actually a '95, probably an early '95 built in '94. The 94's had a double bend downtube, '95 was the first year for the single lower bend downtube. Cool bike btw.

There was only one bashguard bike that I wasn't all that fond of... but the WAL was in a tie for second (along with the 89 Haro Master) to the Bully. Too bad this one doesn't have the forks with it... it looks like it's in great shape! The forks are impossible to find by themselves though... they had a habit of breaking from what I remember.
I have a 89 Master f/f too... just no pics of it right now.
Dig out your bashguard bikes and let me know! I'm looking for a '91 Mongoose Hooligan, Dyno Slammer 2, '95 Haro Basher, . I'll consider the others too for the right price!

So... I'm not sure if anyone has ever done this, but here is a shot at a Bashguard listing...
(not including bolt-on, etc.)
Bully - Bashguard
Bully - Bashguard 3
Bully - ROX (attempt at making a mountain bike)
CYC - Pikes Peak Stormer
Diamond Back - TailWhip
Dyno - Slammer
GT - Aggressor
GT - Riccochett
Haro - Master
Haro - Sport
Mongoose - Hooligan
Wilkerson Airlines - Riot
I don't remember any others... but I could be forgetting something.

Re: lets see your midschool bashguard and grind disk bikes!
Nope... that's a new one for me! Never heard of that one... but I've never been a GT guy really. Looks kinda strange and like it was older than most bashguard bikes... doesn't look BEEFY enough... ![]()
