1995 Auburn CR20RX
1995 Auburn CR20RX
From trash to beauty. This was one crazy build up.
I bought the F/F stem form a member on the site in real rough shape and built it up to take to the annual Rockford show. I used as much era correct parts as I could find in the short amount of time I had. I started this build in the beginning of March and finished it one day before the show. I wish I could have found a few more NOS parts and correct GT stuff. I had a friend re-pop the decals and a local powder coater take care of the frame. I had a friend of a friend do the polishing and had the wheels laced up at Dan's Comp. Most all the parts came from the museum with the exception of a few coming from ebay. So thanks go out to the members who supplied my addiction. Here is a link to the build. http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=118454 The only things not totally correct to the original are the wheels brakes, sprocket and headset. and I couldn't find a set of Auburn pads either.
F**k sittin on NOS Parts. Build it! Otherwise they're just PARTS and not a BIKE!
WANTED: NOS Auburn padset.
