Re: 1980 Redline Proline II

Wow that is cool looking.
Attention to detail is great.

How it ever gets best 80's race bike when it looks like no race bike ever did in the 80's is totally beyond me but WOW.

Old bikes need love too, get them off the carpet and ride!
Need red Oakley 3's in great condition and red Suntour 44t chainring to finish recreating my first BMX bike.

Re: 1980 Redline Proline II

Love Redlines and don't recall ever seeing a modified bike like this BITD being raced or in a magazine?  It stands out but is this truly vintage?  Nice job on the modified details.

Re: 1980 Redline Proline II

Uhh HOLY CRAP! I never thought copper could look so good.

I get this question often so here it is to save everyone time. I do not have any Mongoose DMC decals left. I was lucky enough to find a small bunch of NOS decal sets in an old bike shop that no longer exists and I have since sold them all. Sorry. I wish you all the best of luck with your DMC builds.

It was built as a tribute for the Rockford 10th Aniversary vintage bmx show. It is a custom one of a kind vintage bike. Its dedicated to all the people that love these bikes like I do. Thanks.
