Cooool bike. I saw a silver one as a kid and have never seen another one since.
I'm going to try to match your color scheme w/ my Trickstar build. Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: 1985 Torker 280 Air
Thanks for the comments!
Was a very fun bike to put together.
Arclight, glad you like the color scheme, It'll look sick on your Trickstar (wish we had one!)
dioisradical, I hear ya about the tires however being in NZ its kinda expensive to get the tires we really wanted for it.
These IRC are 20x1.95 and cost $20 NZD each (approx $11USD) so we couldnt say no. (where's some white barefeet tires when you need them!)
Cheers

Re: 1985 Torker 280 Air
haha, true.
I like gumwalls on freestyler's. but don't see them too often.
But i mean, I'm runnin' cages on and cheapo tires on mine too.
(A little dremel tool action of those trap teeth will totally help with the shinners)

It's never too late to get up and go!!!

Re: 1985 Torker 280 Air
The All Blacks Suck mate... Hopefully Robbie Deans will lead the Wallabies to a series whitewash during the Tri-Nations this year to show the NZRU what idiots they were to let him go instead of firing Graeme Henry while they had the chance!
But I digress...
Glad you like the bike mate, although I would give me left shoe for a late 80's Haro....![]()

Re: 1985 Torker 280 Air
WAGWAN NZ!
Love a white Torker and the gold/black detailing is sweet!
I've recently aquired an '84 280x myself and can't wait to see how it looks after the rechroming.
Where on this blue planet did you score those decals? UK?
Cheers mate S ![]()

Re: 1985 Torker 280 Air
Thanks man... might just check it out!
Mate you can see my 280 in my bikes... it's rough as there but she's stripped and getting ready for chrome as we speak.
Should come back in a month or so...
