2009 Haro Freestyler

I have always wanted a haro master so when I found out about the 09 haro freestyler I had to buy one even if it came with subpar parts and was not full chromoly. I bought this 2009 haro freestyler about 2 months after it was first released, I didn't really think the original freestyler decals suited the frame so the first thing I did in 2009 was switched out the decals for some reproduction 1986 haro master decals.

in 2009 after I switched the decals I immediately got rid of the crappy stock stem and fork and switched it out with a hoffman super fork with hoffman stem. I then slowly started replacing all of the stock parts with different parts over the years. the only stock parts left on the bike are the headset, rear brake, cranks/ pedals. I upgraded it to withstand the abuse of street riding and skate park riding, it's not a show bike by any means and gets used all the time and has the scratches to prove it.
thinking back on it, i've spent way too much money on upgrading this bike several times in the 4 years i've owned it but it was my first brand new complete bike since the mid 90's and it felt great to just upgrade it from a subpar stock bike to a awesome rider. for the amount of money i've spent upgrading this let's just say I could have bought a complete actual 87-92 master but I don't regret it since this bike has served me well for riding street, ramps and dirt jumps.
